Podiatrists are primary contact health professionals specialising in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders of the foot and the lower limb. The Podiatrist's scope of practice includes areas such as paediatrics, diabetes, sports injuries, structural problems, the treatment of the elderly as well as general foot care.
