Launceston hosts successful anterior knee event

Dr Kay Crossley, Dr Natalie Collins and Kathryn Mills provided Tasmanian podiatrists with an updatImagee of the evidence for managing patello-femoral pain. A recent influx of quality research in the area has identified the importance of distal interventions such as foot orthoses, placing the focus on the role of podiatrists in the multidisciplinary approach to the condition. The speakers presented a series of presentations and workshops, discussing the recently developed predication rules for orthoses, using valid and reliable methods to assess foot and ankle function.

APodA Tasmania would like to thank the continuing education working group, Joe Rogers and Sue McKay for their excellent work to organise another successful event. Details for the June 25th Diabetes Update in Hobart will be announced shortly on the APodA Tasmania website and through the Podiatry Tasmania newsletter.
